Just Eat

One of the giants of the food delivery world, Just Eat has been around for a while and was set up in Denmark in 2001. Popular locations in the UK include Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester.

Zomato

Perhaps less well known, Zomato launched in 2010. It’s a bit different from other apps in that it also allows customers to find out about new restaurants, book tables and pay as well as ordering food delivery.

Amazon Fresh

Amazon Fresh was initially launched as an online-only grocer for Amazon Prime members in the UK in 2016, and is currently available in a limited number of postcodes. After launching its contactless grocery stores across the US, it opened its first UK stores in London in March.

On the delivery side, it offers customers same-day grocery delivery free to Prime members from both Amazon Fresh stores and through a partnership with Morrisons.
