NY – Cab Decoration Ideas π²
If you’ve ever thought about adding some sparkle to your cab, now’s the time to do it! It’s fairy lights and tinsel galore out there, and we’re here to help you with some festive inspiration! Read on to see some fabulous decorations from fellow drivers!
The Basics
We’re talking tinsel around the headrests, a festive steering wheel cover, mini candy canes for passengers. Get some fake antlers for the top of your car, or even some red bows for the door handles! Just be sure that anything you add to your vehicle is attached securely.
Don’t Sweat Over Festive Sweaters
How about a festive sweater or two? There are some great options out there now, we especially like this Jurassic Park themed one! Or decorate one yourself? Thrift a sweater from Goodwill, grab some old decorations, a needle and thread – and attach those baubles like there’s no tomorrow! You’ll be sure to get a few smiles from passengers! You can even add small LED lights for that extra festive touch.
Get Crafty!
Follow Veronica’s guide on how to make a wreath for your vehicle! Though she drives a Jeep, the wreath is pretty universal, you could even hang it over the back of your passenger seat for back seat riders to enjoy.
Now for something truly extra…
11,000 Lights!
Back in 2017, taxi driver Dwight Robinett covered his cab in thousands of lights, including the wheels! His sparkly ride proved a massive hit, with people constantly waving him down. However, experts are warning against these extra decorations in 2022 amidst a rise in the #christmascar tag on TikTok. We’re not even sure this is strictly legal now, so be sure to enjoy the spectacle safely below!
