INSHUR launches dynamic-pricing insurance program for US professional rideshare and for-hire drivers, backed by Mobilitas and Incline, with expected premium volume exceeding $50 million.
New York, NY - Aug 18, 2026 - INSHUR, the leader in insurance solutions for the on-demand economy, today announced the launch of a new commercial auto insurance program for rideshare and professional drivers across the United States. The program capacity is provided by Mobilitas and written through Incline.
INSHUR brings its purpose-built MGA capabilities, across pricing, underwriting, distribution, and claims, to the program. The program is further supported by Mobilitas' deep expertise as one of the only US carriers built exclusively for the mobility and sharing economy, and Incline's proven strength as one of the fastest-growing program carriers in the country.
This new partnership marks a pivotal phase of growth. In the near term, it provides the infrastructure to take what has historically been a regional, West Coast US program and expand it into new markets. Unlike traditional commercial auto programs built on static, one-size-fits-all risk models, INSHUR's digital-first platform integrates directly with major rideshare and delivery networks like Uber to streamline the quote-to-claim experience. Looking to the future, the INSHUR platform positions us to fundamentally innovate our underwriting. By leveraging advanced AI tools and enhanced segmentation powered by usage-based, telematics-driven data, we will be able to assess and price risk with unprecedented accuracy. This will allow us to deploy dynamic models that better suit the unique needs of our customers.
INSHUR will operate the full insurance lifecycle: pricing, underwriting, quoting, onboarding, policy administration, billing, and claims handling. Mobilitas provides the lead line with reinsurance support from Gen Re, both providing excellent AM Best rating capacity. Mobilitas has years of experience with major rideshare and delivery platforms, making this panel strategically important for the long-term growth of the program. Incline serves as the fronting carrier, extending a relationship established through several programs with INSHUR since 2025.
The program also reflects a broader strategic alignment between INSHUR and Mobilitas, with both companies exploring further partnership opportunities across the on-demand economy and autonomous vehicle insurance sectors where the combination of INSHUR's technology, sector expertise, and operational capabilities with Mobilitas' carrier strength creates a platform for products that don't yet exist in the market.
Dan Bratshpis, CEO and Co-Founder of INSHUR, said: "On-demand drivers deserve insurance that works the way they do. This program uses real platform data to price risk more accurately, which means better outcomes for drivers and for the balance sheet. Mobilitas and Incline aren't just comfortable with that approach; they're invested in it. Combined with our
platform partnerships, we have a distribution model that no traditional insurer can replicate. This is the infrastructure for what comes next."
Jeff Huebner, Executive Vice President of Mobilitas, said: “Mobilitas was built to address the needs of stakeholders across the mobility ecosystem: drivers, passengers, pedestrians and providers. We deliver purpose-built insurance capacity, deep mobility-sector expertise and a long-term commitment to the sharing and on-demand economy, and are pleased to bring those strengths to market through a technology-enabled platform that offers more responsive, scalable insurance solutions for the mobility sector."
Chris McClellan, President and CEO of Incline P&C Group, said: "The on-demand economy has the opportunity to reshape commercial auto, and this program positions Incline at the center of it. INSHUR's operational expertise in this area gives us the confidence to commit to this space at scale. It's exactly the kind of partnership that drives Incline's growth strategy: disciplined underwriting in markets with real momentum."
