Terms & Conditions

The parties to this Agreement (the “Parties”) are the policyholder or prosepective policyholder, (“Policyholder” or “you”) and Inshur Inc. (“Inshur” or “we”), who agree as follows:

  1. You agree for Inshur Inc. to deliver to you documents, records and other information (“Documents”) and billing statements (“Bills”). You will receive these electronic Documents and/or Bills instead of paper documents.
  2. You will receive an email or in app notification when the Documents and/or Bills are available.
  3. We may issue some notices or documents by print mail and not be electronic delivery, as required by law.
  4. At any time while this Agreement is effective, you may obtain a paper copy of a particular Document or Bill at no charge by calling Inshur at 1-866-446-7487 and requesting a copy.
  5. You may update your information, such as change your email address, at any time by accessing Profile within the Inshur app.
  6. You are responsible for accessing, opening and reading your Documetns or Bills.
  7. Inshur may amend the terms of this Agreement at any time by providing notice to you of the amendments.
  8. Inshur does not warrant that the delivery of electronic Documents and Bills will be uninterrupted or error free. We are not liable for: any loss or damage arising from problems with your equipment or telecommunications provider; your failure to meet your responsibilities as outlined herein; or any equipment problems or other occurrences beyond our reasonable control.
  9. You authorize Inshur Inc. to initiate recurring charges for insurance premiums, indicative premiums, endorsments, taxes and any associated fees, to the credit card, debit card or bank account specified as your preferred payment method within the Inshur app.
  10. The Inshur app will specify the payment schedule ahead of time and send receipts to the email address on file. Any return premiums will be credited back to the method on file.
  11. If your primary Account payment method is determined to be expired, invalid or otherwise not able to be charged, you agree that Inshur may use a secondary payment method in your Account, if available. Any returned payments may incur additional fees.
  12. You agree and understand that coverage is not bound until the Inshur app notifies you in electronic writing or notification, that a policy has been issued.
  13. By creating an Account, you agree that Inshur may send you informational text (SMS) messages as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Services. You may opt-out of receiving text (SMS) messages from Uber at any time by calling 1-866-446-7487.
  14. By accepting this Agreement you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. This Agreement is effective when we electronically receive your acceptance.

  16. These Terms are governed by and contrued in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA.
  17. Inshur Inc. is a licensed producer in the State of New York. As such, we are authorized to provide you with advice on particular insurance contracts, the benefits, terms and conditions of insurance contracts, to sell you insurance, and to obtain insurance on your behalf.
  18. We may have have access to more than one insurance company to place your coverage.
  19. Compensation will be paid to us by the insurance company or other third party. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including the insurance carrier, the contract you select, the volume of business we produce with insurer and the profitability of that business.
  20. You may receive upon request information about our compensation on the policy sold to you, as well as compensation information associated with any alternative policy quoted to you.
